Chiricahua Community Health Center

Chiricahua Community Health Center, Inc. (CCHCI) began its planning process in 1994 and in August 1996 opened its doors to the community of Elfrida. The clinic was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center in 1997 and since has added new locations in Douglas, the Jennifer "Ginger" Ryan clinic and in Bisbee. In 2002, a Mobile Medical Unit was added to provide medical services to individuals who are geographically isolated in outlying communities of Cochise County. In 2006,a Mobile Dental Unit was aquired in order to provide preventive dental care to school age children residing in the Sulphur Springs Valley. CCHCI provides services to Southeastern Arizona with a staff of over ninety employees, including eleven physicians, five nurse practitioners, one dentist, a registered dental hygienst and two counselors. CCHCI's mission is to "provide quality health care to all in Cochise County regardless of ability to pay".
