Adelante Healthcare,. (CAI) is a community and migrant health center formed in 1979 through a collaboration of residents and service agencies. CAI offers culturally competent, community oriented primary health care, outreach, and support services to all residents of Maricopa County, regardless of their ability to pay. CAI has five family medical clinics in Surprise, Wickenburg, Buckeye, Gila Bend, and Mesa, an OB/GYN clinic in Sun City West, and a dental clinic in Buckeye. The mobile Rural Health Team serves 16 schools in the far western county, and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition services are offered at 10 locations. Our team of 20 physicians, obstetricians, and nurse practitioners and 180 staff members serve over 30,000 patients annually.
