Interested in becoming a member with the AACHC? AACHC members are not-for-profit, public primary care centers that serve over 350,000 individuals in thirty-four not-for-profit, community based, primary care organizations in Arizona with over 100 locations throughout the state. The Association supports its members through:

Full, Associate and Affiliate memberships are available. Full membership entitles members to a seat on the Board of Directors with full voting privileges. All new members are subject to the approval of the AACHC Board of Directors.

Other sub-groups within the Association

Behavioral Health Provider Forum

A committee of Certified Professional Counselors, Psychologists, Family Therapists and Social Workers. The Behavioral Health Provider Forum meets quarterly to discuss, Integrated Care codes, reimbursement, FQHC/RHC behavioral health services and to contribute ideas, experiences and share best practices.

Clinical Committee

The Clinical Committee is a committee of the AACHC Board of Directors and consists of member medical directors and two executive director Board Members. The committee meets to discuss clinical related issues.
The clinical committee consists of the Clinical Operations Committee (COPS), Dental Directors, Pharmacy Directors and Behavioral Health Directors.

Chief Operating Group (COO) Chief Operating Group (COO) - Consists of Chief Operating Officers or key operational management staff. The COO group meets monthly to discuss health center procedures, guidelines, metrics and various other operational topics.
COPS Continuous Operational Performance (COPS) - Meets regularly to discuss nursing and clinical issues. The group consists of nurse managers. Topics for discussion often include sharing best practices, policy and procedure review, licensure, quality and risk management, emergency preparedness planning, Ambuqual parameters (10 Core Measures), medical records and immunizations.
Dental Sub-Committee Meets regularly to discuss oral health issues and dental staffing
Financial Officers Group (FOG) Consists of clinics financial officers. FOG meets regularly to discuss issues regarding business office, information systems, contracting, and payers. FOG usually has an annual one day training program for business office coordinators.
Pharmacists Sub-Committee A sub-committee that meets quarterly on the 2nd Thursday at noon to discuss pharmacy related issues.
