Rural/Frontier Women's Health Coordinating Centers

What is RFCC?

The Rural/Frontier Women's Health Coordinating Centers (RFCCs) were created to establish coordinating centers to identify, coordinate and leverage networks of existing resources to provide a full range of services to women and their families living in rural/ frontier communities. There are 11 RFCCs across the nation; Arizona being one of the first three created.Ý

In October 2004, the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers was awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/Office on Women's Health to create the Arizona RFCC.

The Arizona RFCC is committed to making a difference in five areas concerning women's health services: Leadership, Clinical, Education, Outreach, and Research.Ý
