Data Services and Planning Program

Data is integral to telling the story and demonstrating the effectiveness of Arizona’s Community Health Centers. The Data Services and Planning Program works to gather data to support the work of AACHC and that of Arizona’s safety net providers, mining for information that can help drive decision-making and improve healthcare quality. This program is responsible for the strategic direction and initiatives that allow AACHC to anticipate and analyze issues related to primary care service markets, strategic planning and technical assistance for Community Health Centers through data collection and data analysis. This program utilizes and mines data to increase awareness and promote support for comprehensive, sustained community programs designed and targeted to meet the primary health care needs of underserved Arizona populations.

The Data Services and Planning Program develops and coordinates Association-wide data collection and analysis programs and creates and executes plans to deliver strategic data management initiatives to meet the needs of community health centers. This program participates collaboratively in planning efforts with centers for expansion of integrated information services, adopting electronic health records, reaching meaningful use and establishing patient-centered medical homes.
