Veteran’s Choice Program is a new, temporary program that provides Veterans the ability to receive medical care in their community if VA cannot schedule an appointment within 30 days of the Veteran’s preferred date, or the date determined medically necessary by their provider, or if the Veteran resides more than 40 miles from their closest VA medical facility.  Ten Community Health Centers in Arizona currently participate in this program:

Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) is a program that utilizes health care contracts to provide eligible Veterans access to primary care, inpatient/outpatient specialty care, mental health care, limited emergency care, and limited newborn care for enrolled female Veterans following the birth of a child.  VA providers must determine the care needed is not available with VA, they authorize care for Veterans from a community provider. Ten Community Health Centers in Arizona currently participate in this program:
