MARICOPA COUNTY HEALTH CARE FOR THE HOMELESS
Maricopa County Health Care for the Homeless
Maricopa County Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) was established in 1984 and offered only basic
health care to the homeless in the downtown area. In 1988, the Maricopa County Department of Public Health was awarded
McKinney Homeless Assistance Act funds and this enabled HCH to provide an integrated system of health care services throughout
the county for homeless individuals and families. HCH provides a high quality service in a caring environment.
Services Provided:
- Medical Treatment
- Laboratory Tests
- Nutritional Counseling
- Podiatry
- Substance Abuse Treatment
- Mental Health Services
- Case management, providing referrals for additional social services, emergency, transitional and permanent housing, and employment assistance
- Referrals for Dental Services
- Outreach
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Wednesday and Friday - 7:00am-11:30am and 12:30pm-4:00pm
Thursday - 9:00am-11:30am and 12:30pm-4:00pm
