About the Event

Each year over 175 medical assistants (MA), dental assistants (DA), community health workers (CHW), and other clinical staff attend AACHC’s Invaluable MA, DA, and CHW Seminar. These health professionals represent a variety of healthcare settings including community health centers, hospitals, tribal entities, and other primary care/oral health practices. The purpose of the event is to provide our frontline healthcare workers and support staff with a variety of educational sessions and an opportunity to network with their peers across the state.  We also use this event as an opportunity to formally acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding work of several individuals through our annual Invaluable Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Community Health Workers awards, along with our annual Special Populations Award.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Our goal is to host a safe and healthy conference. Our 2021 format will allow for 125 in-person attendees supplemented by remote participants. The in-person event will be held at the Desert Willow Conference Center, which will be live streamed for virtual participants. There will be ample room for social distancing and spaces will be disinfected during breaks. We ask that all in-person participants wear masks while indoors regardless of vaccination status unless actively eating or drinking. Thank you in advance for helping us make this event safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Courtesy Hotel Block

We have reserved a courtesy hotel block at Home2 Suites Phoenix Airport South near the venue with a rate of $139/night. The cut-off date for reservations is Monday, September 27. Click here to make your reservation.
