Leadership and Direct Report Training: How to Bring Out the Best in Your People

Do you find yourself frustrated on a regular basis? Do you find your colleagues often miss deadlines, allow cost-overruns, or delivery poor quality care to patients? Do you colleagues fail to alert you of problems in advance when risks can be minimized? Do key colleagues fail to speak up, step up and deliver consistently?

This program is especially designed for Intact Teams led by a C-Level Leader. You will engage your colleagues in a highly interactive 1-day program to build a culture of accountability and success where everyone still feels encouraged, engaged and empowered.

Learning Objectives Summarized and Desired Outcomes:

  1. Each participant will learn the skills to build in significant amounts of time for preparation for discussions of all kinds. This will further build a culture of accountability with the ability to respond, not react.
  2. Build a culture of accountability so that each leader and their team deliver on time and on budget or effectively negotiate appropriate modifications with their leadership team and business partners in advance.
  3. Minimize unnecessary stress and intensity from the myriad of day-to-day responsibilities, lack of preparedness and the ability to ‘dance’ with changes, modifications, challenging circumstances and difficult people.
  4. Build a culture of support and encouragement, not just with each leader’s direct reports but also among their entire organization and with the business partners.
  5. Orient each participant to use The Halpin Companies’ methods to Catch Themselves and Coach Themselves when others are not meeting expectations so that expectations can be negotiated in a win/win/win manner that leaves everyone feeling encouraged, engaged and empowered.
