CMS Presentation on the Quality Payment Program (QPP) – Webinar

May 17, 2017 – 12:30pm to 2:00pm

Presenter:  Neal Logue, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), San Francisco Regional Office

In our continued effort to support and provide learning opportunities to Arizona health centers on national level initiatives in Payment and Quality models, Healthy Communities Collaborative Network (HCCN), along with Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers (AACHC) and Collaborative Ventures Network (CVN),  has been approved by CMS for a live webinar presentation on Value-Based Programs.

Value Based Programs reward health care providers with incentive payment for the quality of care they give to people with Medicare.  These programs are part of CMSs larger quality strategy to reform how health care is delivered and reimbursed.  The Medicare Access & CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) helped to create the Quality Payment Program (QPP).  The QPP will reform Medicare Part B, and as such, there are two tracks:  the Advanced Alternate Payment Model (APM) and the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).

Please register each individual that will be attending this webinar.

You will receive webinar login link the week of the presentation.

There will be a small amount of time allotted to Q/A at the end of the presentation.
