Position Title:  Chief Executive Officer

Reports to: Board of Directors

Supervises: Chief Financial Officer, Chief Development Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Sr. Network Administrator and  Executive Assistant

Summary of Position:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors and the executive leadership team to oversee day-to-day operations of the organization and execution of the strategic plan, including program development, program funding, financial management, human resources, information technology, facility management and support services.  The CEO will work closely and effectively with the Chief Medical Officer and to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services to Circle the City patients.

Essential Duties:

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Board of Directors on the development and execution of an organization-wide strategic plan;
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other organizations in the community who provide support services for CTC patients;
  • Ensure that risk management and safety programs are adequate;
  • Development of administrative policies and appropriate staff training;
  • Oversee all organizational licensure and regulatory compliance;
  • Responsible for claims management activity
  • Development of new business lines of service and other funding strategies;
  • Oversee CTC’s philanthropic efforts and progress toward fundraising goals;
  • Monitor key performance metrics and determine corrective action as needed.


  • Demonstrated acumen and ability to excel in a senior leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; high level of computer proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative style
  • Strong interest in the challenge of creating a new and innovative program
  • Demonstrated interest and experience working with an underserved population

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s level education preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience of successful senior operations/administrative leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated success in business management.
