Promote and restore patient’s health by assisting medical providers in giving direct service to patients, collaborate with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary team members and provide physical & psychological support to patients. One to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of educational experience.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Current certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant from an accredited school. Current CPR certification. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Must obtain a fingerprint clearance card and be able to successfully pass a background investigation. If not already obtained, Fingerprint Clearance card application must be submitted within 5 business days of employment. Must pass a language translation test with a score of “8” for specific departments and a MA basic knowledge test.
