Health Center Development

AACHC provides assistance to organizations communities exploring Health Center Program opportunities, either as a Community Health Center (CHC) or a Look-Alike (LAL), as well as to existing health centers to expand their high-quality, affordable healthcare services.

AACHC’s Health Center Development Program provides:

  • Information about Community Health Centers
  • Assistance in determining if a CHC or LAL is an appropriate solution to address a community’s health care needs
  • Opportunities for collaboration
  • Assistance around HRSA New Access Point funding applications and Look-Alike deeming process
  • Ongoing technical assistance to existing health centers, new grantees, and LALs
